She knew it wasn't right. And she felt horrible about it. But sometimes, she just needed a break. It was tough living in a house with 5 other people, four of which were under the age of ten. She was going insane. So as soon as Gavin got home, she took a cab to The Spot, LaQuest Beach's teen hangout.

Blasts from the Past

I've had a bunch of side stories sitting in my head for a while now and I've decided to incorporate them into this round. I suppose it will be much like the different chapters that Laura does at Lakeside Heights, although I don't plan for this to be a regular thing. I really just want to flesh out some of my characters a little. I guess that's kinda what she wants to do to :). Anyhow these are situations that couldn't possible just happen in game without my help so it's more of the story telling aspect of my blog. These stories won't affect everyone, but many character's lives are going to change. I'm calling this "Blasts from the Past" because in each situation, these characters will encounter important people from their pasts. I've already began one of the stories with Elvin and Lorelai. These won't be resolved in one round, but they won't drag on either :). So here are the Blasts from the Past:

Elvin de Muse & Lorelai Ellison - Elvin de Muse was once a prince of Vasadori, but his family was not of noble blood. A tragic civil war and nasty betrayal lead to his title of prince. Gurth Vasan, a very angry and very dark elf, wants to reclaim his birth rights and correct old wrongs. Lorelai is simply an innocent bystander that may become caught up in a battle hundreds of years in the making.

DeJuan Foster - DeJuan Foster fell in love with Charday Martin the very moment that he saw her. He knew that she was wild and not really the settling down type, but he couldn't help it. Once Taesha was born, DeJuan wanted to marry Charday and move out of Englewood with her and his daughter. Charday had other plans and had no intentions of living some boring, dull life in the suburbs. She left Englewood and LaQuest Beach and never looked back. DeJuan raised Taesha on his own and didn't date again until he met Donna Johnson. The two fell in love and married, combining their families. Now Charday is back, for reasons unknown.........

Terrence Coners - Terrence thought that marrying Allison Tavem was the greatest thing he could ever do. She was beautiful and sophisticated and made him want to do better. They had Kenny and everything was great. Until Allison decided that Terrence wasn't making enough money to keep her comfortable. So she left him and Kenny, sending divorce papers through the mail. Terrence was crushed and turned to his friend, Tabitha Gunner, for comfort. She helped him deal with his heartache and he helped her realize how beautiful she was, despite her size. Time went on and Terrence and Tabitha fell in love and had a set of twin girls together. Terrence has been featured in the LaQuest Beach Times quite a bit for his work on many of the new buildings in LaQuest Beach and somehow word has gotten back to Allison..........

*I'm actually creating an entire history for Vasadori. It's just for me, just something I've been wanting to do, but I may post it. I've mentioned Terrence and DeJuan's ex's before and I think it's time we met them. I don't have every detail planned out and my sims can still change the story through their actions. I'm interested to see what happens with Terrence's story. Tabitha has this new found confidence in herself and I think Allison may shake that up a bit. And Donna is a very calm woman, but I think she may give Charday a run for her money!

* I'll add a tag to all the entries concerning this stories in case someone wants to just read through them later. I've already created Gurth, Charday, and Allison in bodyshop. Charday and Allison are altered versions of Taesha and Kenny. I wanted there to be some family resemblance since they are suppose to be their mothers. I don't know if any of them will become regular characters at this point.

Well it was official. Lorelai and Jacob were going to be parents! She was so excited, but so scared at the same time. When the doctor called her to tell her the good news, she almost dropped the phone! She was going to be a mom........an elf mom.......

Being the horrible simgod that I am, I completely forgot to include the youngest Newsons in my Fall 2036 birthday post. Terrible, I know! But here they are in all their twindom :)

Georgia Newson is now four years old and is very excited about starting school. She's been cooped up in their tiny home in Fort LaQuest for much too long! She's ready to get out and make some friends. She is a very outgoing and active child.

Her twin brother, Garrett Newson, is much more shy than his sister, but he is also a lot nicer as well! He too is excited about school. The house is always so busy with the six of them living there.

* All of the Newson kids have this weird thing going on with their eyelids which is strange since the only two that are actually related are the twins! And why oh why did Maxis have poor little Gabriella painted up like a hooker? When Georgia aged up, she too was wearing make-up! I think four may be a bit young for pounds of blush and eye shadow :/.....On another note, I think Garrett is going to grow up to be quite the cutie!

* I think I forgot about these two because I haven't played the Newson house much since I only added them in this past round. I'm sure I'll get better into the swing of things. I've updated all their profiles with current pics (quite a job since there are 6 of them!)

Lorelai had to admit that she had been a bit nervous after meeting little Connor Gray and speaking with his parents. She didn't buy their silly story of little Connor having a skin disorder that caused his skin to be a pale, sickly green. Being something other than human herself, she knew when something wasn't quite right. She was concerned how the other kids would take to his differences but so far he fit in quite nicely. In fact, he and fellow pre-schooler Ryan Knowles seemed to be getting along fairly well.....

I'll be interested to see how their relationship develops as she gets older........I think Tessa might not be happy that her daughter is a wallflower......they may have a Tessa/Tabitha type relationship.

Mindi Mason, Kayla Knowles, and Tippy Dean are all 22 this fall and are now residing in Camden Park. Mindi isn't exactly sure what she wants to do and is just delivering pizzas right now. It's a crappy job but it pays the bills! Kayla Knowles is working at LaQuest Beach Preparatory School as an art teacher and is still working on her art collection. She plans to open a gallery with her trust fund once she turns 25. Tippy Dean hopes to work in the entertainment industry but is settling for paying the bills with a few modeling gigs until she gets her big break.

It was the very beginning of winter and Tanner was trying to find new ways to relax. There was a counterfit ring going on around LaQuest and his vice squad duties had doubled. To say he was stressed was an understatement! So he had taken up bug collecting. Keisha couldn't understand it and refused to take part in it, but he and Kali had developed a bond over their bug hunting expeditions.

LaQuest Beach Schools

I couldn't use the high school I downloaded by Simagroop because the lag was just too bad with all my students on it so I just decided to download two smaller schools and keep the high school separate from the elementary school. The elementary school is this lot from modthesims. The high school is this lot from thesimsresource. I had to knock down a few walls and redecorate them quite a bit, but I'm pretty pleased with the results. So here they are:

Derrick Pace was pissed. He didn't know what was going on with Tessa's husband, but he knew something wasn't right! He couldn't remember everything, but he did remember stopping by her house and getting into an argument with her and her freak of a husband. Next thing he knew, he woke up at his club with his staff telling him that he had been clucking like a chicken! Something wasn't right with that guy.........

Round 5 - Summer 2035

No birthdays this time but I thought we would check in with the moms-to-be. These two will be giving birth to little bundles of joy in the fall:

Jessica Picaso is excited about her and Matthew's new arrival. She's excited, but it doesn't seem that he is. She's hoping that will change once he sees their new baby. They've moved to a new house in Fort LaQuest and he had been working such long hours that she hadn't really seen much of him.

She was worried but she didn't want to let that affect her happiness about having a baby.......she just knew that he would come around once he saw the baby.......that was her hope.........

Things are going much smoother over at the White household and Marshal and Shamella can't wait to meet their babies.....that's right, BABIES! These two are having twins! They are currently living in a two bedroom apartment that might become a little cramped once the twins are older, but they are ok for now.

* We'll see more of what Matthew Picaso has been up to in the next up date. I think it's safe to say he's just creepy no matter whose hood he is in!

* Another set of twins! This will make 4 sets when I include my nonplayable playabe Phillippine family in the mix. I'm hoping that at least one of these two will be a boy so that the white name can carry on! But I'm also running short on girls right now :(

Connor had become the best of friends with his younger brother Alex. Amanda had been worried that it would be a little weird for Connor since Alex looked more like her and Corbin. But it didn't seem to bother him and he was perfectly content with their little family.

Kip Henderson was excited about his first day as principal of East High School. He still couldn't believe Christian had asked him to do it. This wasn't what his life was suppose to be. Then again, he didn't expect to grow up in foster homes until Gloria Newson adopted him either.
