Marshal White Update

Marshal White's update is up over on the new blog. I am still getting the auto center I downloaded for him ready, but I totally intend to let him own his own shop. Still working out how exactly he'll run it and make money from it. It's been so much fun catching up with all of my families! I link to the old posts so that anything from their past that has happened can be seen. I know it's hard trying to remember all the characters and what all has happened to them considering I took a two year break -_-. Check out the new post!

Shamella was happy to see that her sons seemed to be making friends at school. The summer had been filled with play dates from numerous children. Evan really seemed to be close with Hunter Picaso. The little boy came over fairly regularly, but never stayed very long as he wanted to go home and make sure his mom and sister were ok. He seemed to take his responsibility as the "man of the house" very seriously and Shamella thought it was very sweet.......

Marshal had left the choice of which house to buy in Talum Heights up to his wife and sister. He had given them the price range and set them loose, a very dangerous thing to do when Ariel was involved........ And though he hated to admit it, they did a pretty wonderful job........

Quite a few birthdays this time!

First up is little Jordyn Pace. She inherited her mother's gold colored eyes and is already a very striking young lady. While she's a very active toddler, Charity can already see some of Derick's grumpiness in little Jordyn!

Marshal could not remember feeling this content with his life. Things at the motorcycle shop where he was head mechanic were going great. He was married to a beautiful woman and had two of the best looking boys in the whole neighborhood. He had come a long way from the man who was taking care of his little sister. He and Ariel had both grown alot in the years since they moved to LaQuest Beach.......

Lots of birthdays this time!

Mindi Mason, Kayla Knowles, and Tippy Dean are all 22 this fall and are now residing in Camden Park. Mindi isn't exactly sure what she wants to do and is just delivering pizzas right now. It's a crappy job but it pays the bills! Kayla Knowles is working at LaQuest Beach Preparatory School as an art teacher and is still working on her art collection. She plans to open a gallery with her trust fund once she turns 25. Tippy Dean hopes to work in the entertainment industry but is settling for paying the bills with a few modeling gigs until she gets her big break.

 It was finally the big day and Shamella Reeves was excited to become Mrs. Marshal White......finally! Their wedding was held downtown in LaQuest Beach at the Parables Community Church.

Shamella Reeves was confused. So confused that she gave herself a headache on a daily basis! Marshal White was the most infuriating man she had ever met. He was also the sweetest. She moved in with him about 6 years ago and they still had yet to move to the next level. Some days it didn't bother her. Some days it did. She didn't know what she wanted either she guessed. A proposal would be nice.........

She had to remind herself sometimes to breathe. Ariel's life was completely overwhelming one minute and terribly boring the next. She never knew how her days were going to go. It all started when she decided to marry Joe. It wasn't that she didn't love Joe. She did. Although that was why he thought she didn't want to get married. But it wasn't that. She loved him more than she thought was possible. It's just that having Kayden and falling in love was not a part of her plan. She was in her thirties and had never become the singer she thought she would become. It wasn't the end of her life, but she had a family now......she couldn't just do what she wanted.....so after alot of proding from her brother Marshal, she decided to become Ariel Carr.

After almost a year, Ariel White had saved up enough money to get her own place. Her brother Marshal insisted that she didn't have to move out, but she knew she needed to. Marshal had moved in his girlfriend, Shamella Reeves, and he had begun working on getting his law degree so he could practice law. Ariel needed her own space and privacy. She hadn't given up on becoming a great singer and knew that it was just a matter of time before she made it big.

Ariel White was happy. Most people are unhappy with the path their lives take, but she was pretty content with where she was. She was convinced that one day soon, the world would hear the name Ariel White and say, "Damn, that girl can SING!" Of course, she'd never had any formal training but most really good singers never did. And yes, she lived in Englewood, which meant that opportunity wouldn't just knock on her door.......but Ariel was a very determined, strong willed woman. And she skipped out on college so she could follow her dreams.....so failure was definitely not an option!

Meet the Whites

Marshal and Ariel White moved to LaQuest Beach to escape the drug dealer filled neighborhood that they were living in. Unfortunately, the only place that they could afford was in the Englewood area of LaQuest Beach, but it is a step up from where they were. Twenty-six year old Marshal has been taking care of his little sister since the death of their parents six years ago.

Marshal is a very hard worker who plans to move out of Englewood as soon as he can save up enough money. His job as an auto mechanic doesn't pay very much, but he hope to have enough money saved up to move in a few years. It would help if his sister would get a job too. Ariel has always been a bit selfish.......

Ariel White likes to party and have fun and is very upset that she had to leave all of her friends just because her brother was overreacting. Nothing bad happened to them in the old neighborhood, but he was afraid it would. But Ariel has always been a very popular girl and is sure to make lots of friends in LaQuest Beach. Maybe she'll eventually even get a job!


*I really like Ariel's face.......it's a little odd, but charmingly so........Marshal is a fortune sim and Ariel is popularity..........
