Liam Coners was very excited about starting school. Turning four meant that he could go out and play with other kids and learn some things. It also meant that he could get away from his little sister! He didn't understand why his mom seemed so sad about him going to school at all.......

Matt had been back from Three Lakes for almost 2 years and he still felt good. The restlessness that usually overtook him wasn't there any more.......maybe he was growing up? Spending his days with Jessica, Hunter, and Miranda when he wasn't doing his duties as General was.........just really nice. Miranda was almost potty trained, a feat that seemed impossible to accomplish when they first began the process...........

Round 8 - January 2042

Being the horrible simgod that I am, I totally forgot to do Miranda Picaso's age up! So here she is.......quite evil looking, isn't she? And guess what? She has freaking elf ears! No idea what that's about! As you can see, I covered them. There is just no way for me to fit that into my whole elf situation I have going on, and I'm not even going to try! I'm hoping she......I don't know, softens as she gets older. She looks like she's going to get into a lot of mischief, doesn't she?

And here is little Miss Joss Willis. She is a very playful and outgoing little one-year-old girl. Meadow is a bit upset that she looks more like her daddy right now!

* I seriously don't understand how Miranda has elf ears......no idea. She is extremely outgoing, playful, sloppy and mean (only 1 neat and nice point!) so I'm sure she'll be quite the character.

* Joss is also extremely outgoing and playful (10 points each) but she also isn't very nice ( 3 nice points). I can see her being the spoiled daughter of a rockstar who just wants to have fun all the time lol. Should be tons of fun for both Meadow and Slade :)

It was finally time to head home. Gavin wasn't sure this day would ever come. Since Payton's birth, the days seemed to creep by on his calendar. But soon he would be able to hold his baby girl in his arms..........

He was bored. And while for other men this might be insignificant, for Matthew Picaso it was a new feeling. He wasn't a monster or uncaring, but he usually enjoyed his trips for the military. He got away from his regular life and was able to breathe. But this time was different. This time he found himself actually missing home, missing Jessica and Hunter and Miranda. This time, he looked forward to being reunited with his family. And he didn't know how he felt about it.............

It was time for him to leave. They had shared a very sad Christmas together in which all anyone wanted to do was talk about how much they were going to miss him. The few weeks after his marriage to Gretchen flew by, and now here they were..........preparing to say good-bye.

Hunter wasn't doing so well in school. He didn't get what he was doing wrong. Maybe he should start asking his parents for help.......maybe he could even ask his dad. His dad was different now. He seemed.......happier. And that made Hunter happy. He guessed that the new baby was the reason. He didn't care what the reason was, he just knew that his dad was happy now and he was going to get to be a big brother!

Jessica Picaso loved being pregnant. She knew other women complained about the discomfort, but she absolutely love it. She really hoped they had a girl this time in case Matt didn't want to have any more kids. She still didn't know what to make of all his attentiveness as of late. It was a bit strange to say she felt weird that her husband was doting on her, but that was how she felt.........weird.........

He felt different. He didn't know why, didn't know what brought about this change, but he felt it. He was.......lucky. He had a beautiful wife, a great son, and a job he loved. Maybe it was the fact that he actually took the time out to realize and appreciate what he had. His life had been so much about progression, about reaching the goals he had set out for himself......now he could just.......enjoy his life. It was a very freeing feeling...........

Matthew was getting use to being a father. It was weird. One minute he and Jessica were just living their lives and the next there was this little person who required so much attention from them. And truth be told, Matt wasn't use to giving up his attention freely. He hadn't been the greatest husband to Jessica and he knew it. He loved her, but he married her before he was ready to be a husband. And now he was a father.......

Lots of birthdays this time!

Mindi Mason, Kayla Knowles, and Tippy Dean are all 22 this fall and are now residing in Camden Park. Mindi isn't exactly sure what she wants to do and is just delivering pizzas right now. It's a crappy job but it pays the bills! Kayla Knowles is working at LaQuest Beach Preparatory School as an art teacher and is still working on her art collection. She plans to open a gallery with her trust fund once she turns 25. Tippy Dean hopes to work in the entertainment industry but is settling for paying the bills with a few modeling gigs until she gets her big break.
