Tanner hated that he had to go in on Christmas' Eve, but he really didn't have a choice. He had recently been promoted to lieutenant and was still getting use to his new job responsibilities. There was one good thing about working this Christmas' Eve, he would miss Kayla's baby shower! So far, Keisha had kept herself in check during the planning process with Tabitha Coners. But he really didn't know how long the peace would last..........

Kinsley Knowles had finally taken the plunge and bought a store to sell her clothes. Now that Ricki was in school, she had the time to run a business outside of home. She named it Escape and was able to find a wonderful building near the coastline. Which meant that she got lots of customers who were coming to or from the beach.

Keisha knew that she had behaved pretty badly about the whole Kayla/Kenny situation and was determined to make amends. She was going out to lunch with Kenny's stepmother Tabitha to try to begin smoothing things over......

Lots of birthdays this time!

Mindi Mason, Kayla Knowles, and Tippy Dean are all 22 this fall and are now residing in Camden Park. Mindi isn't exactly sure what she wants to do and is just delivering pizzas right now. It's a crappy job but it pays the bills! Kayla Knowles is working at LaQuest Beach Preparatory School as an art teacher and is still working on her art collection. She plans to open a gallery with her trust fund once she turns 25. Tippy Dean hopes to work in the entertainment industry but is settling for paying the bills with a few modeling gigs until she gets her big break.

It was the very beginning of winter and Tanner was trying to find new ways to relax. There was a counterfit ring going on around LaQuest and his vice squad duties had doubled. To say he was stressed was an understatement! So he had taken up bug collecting. Keisha couldn't understand it and refused to take part in it, but he and Kali had developed a bond over their bug hunting expeditions.
