Allison Tavem was pissed. She had to read in the society pages about her own son's wedding! She had been trying to reach out to Kenny for months, only to be ignored. Regardless of how he felt about it, she was still his mother!

Kayla was very surprised to walk out and find Allison standing on their doorstep.

"Ms. Tavem!' she exclaimed.

"Ah, so you do know who I am. I was under the impression that Kenny had chosen to pretend I don't exist! You must be his new wife."

"I am. My name is Kayla. Kenny isn't here, he's still out on tour with his band."

"I don't suppose you would be willing to give me his cell phone number?" Allison asked.

"I don't think that would be a good idea. Look, I understand that you're upset about not being invited to the wedding, but that was Kenny's call. And if he wanted to get in touch with you, he would have. I'm trying to stay as unbiased as I can, but at the end of the day my loyalty lies with him," Kayla said.

"I don't know what he's told you, but I am not the monster he thinks I am. As a woman who just married a man with money, I'm sure you can understand why I left Kenny's father. I needed to be taken care of."

"Please don't place us in the same category, Ms. Tavem. I did not marry Kenny because of what I thought he could buy me. His band isn't even all that successful yet. Not to mention that I have my own money. My parents taught me that the only reason you marry someone is for love," Kayla said.

"Love doesn't pay the bills, honey."

"But hard work does. So maybe you should have just gotten a job. Either way, I'm actually headed out to the salon as I'm joining Kenny in Three Lakes tomorrow. I'll let him know you were looking for him," Kayla said.

"You do that."

Allison didn't care for Kenny's little wife. And whether Kenny wanted to admit it or not, she was still his mother. And he wouldn't be in this world without her. She would get what was due to her, one way or another..........

Kenny would be pissed when he found out that Allison now knew where they lived. But Kayla wasn't going to worry about that. She would let Jessica Picaso work her magic so she could look her best when she saw her new husband..........

Jessica was simply amazing and Kayla loved her new extensions! She knew Kenny would love them too!

She always made sure to tip Jessica because she really was awesome. She had also gotten her ready for her wedding and Kayla loved what she did then as well.

She also ran into her mother while she was at Picaso Cuts.

"Kayla, you look wonderful honey! Kenny's not going to be able to keep his hands off you," Keisha said.

"Mom, you know it's always weird when you say things like that!"

"Well it's the truth!"

"Thanks.........I guess," Kayla said.

"I know Kenny's busy with his tour, and you're considering opening your art gallery, but you guys need to get to work on a grandchild for me and your father!" Keisha said.

"MOM! We've only been married for a few months. Plus, you've still got Ricki and Ryan," Kayla said.

"Yes, but I want a new baby. At least think about it before you shoot it down!"

"Ugh, fine I'll think about it," Kayla said, although she had no intentions of doing so.

The next morning she woke up with a spring in her step because she knew she would see Kenny soon. She had really missed him..........

He had booked them a room in the nicest hotel in Three Lakes. Kayla wasn't really the outdoorsy type, but she had to admit that it was beautiful.

"Well look at you! I love the hair, babe, it really fits you," Kenny said.

"Well I'm glad you like it! I think I'm going to keep it like this for a while."

"I think that's a great idea. Although I think you look beautiful all the time," he said.

"I'm glad you're finally here, the guys were getting alittle tired of me talking about how much I missed you," he said.

"Tippy stopped answering her phone because she said she was tired of me talking about you. I'm going to do the same thing to her once she and Casey get married," Kayla said laughing.

"Well now that we're both here, let's do some catching up," he said smiling.

A few hours later the two came up for air and decided to get something to eat.

"Your mother came by," Kayla said.

"Came by our house? I'm so tired of her. I guess the only way to put an end to this is to just talk to her. Maybe if I tell her to get lost in person, she'll finally get it."

"She's definitely something else. Do you know she accused me of marrying you for money?" Kayla asked.

"That's because she feels that's the only valid reason to get married. I don't want to talk about this anymore. C'mon, let's dance."

Kayla was nothing like his mother. And for that, he was eternally grateful. He could not possibly love her anymore than he already did. It was amazing to him that he didn't want her in high school. He must have been out of his mind.......

He had the easiest job in the world and the best wife. Life couldn't get any better. He couldn't wait to get in the studio once they got back to LaQuest Beach.

"My mom asked me about grandkids before I left," Kayla said laughing. 

"What's so funny about that? I would love to have a baby with you," he said.

"Are you serious? I really don't think now is the time to be having a baby!"

"Why not?"

"You're about to start working on an album, I'm still teaching and want to open up my art gallery. We have too much on our plate as it is!"
"That's all true, but we both have parents who are more than willing to help out. And Jake's studio is in LaQuest Beach so it's not like I'll be traveling far. I'm just saying, it's something to think about."

"I'll think about it. I guess it would be kinda cool to have a kid who's a nice mix of us both," Kayla said.

"See? And with my pay from this tour and the fact that our parents got us the house, we have money for daycare if we need it. Although with neither of our mothers working, I know they'll be fighting over who gets to keep the baby," he said laughing.

"Tabitha is nice but my mom is a pittbull! I don't know who would would win in that fight!"

"Tabitha is a lot tougher than she looks!"

"Just promise me one thing," she said.

"What's that babe?"

"If I ever start acting like my mom, shoot me."

"I don't think we have to worry about that," he said laughing.

* SO.................they're pregnant! They woohoo'd so much till Kayla got knocked up! They are both family sims so each time they did it, it was try for a baby. And get this, the baby is due February 2040, their one year anniversary! How freaking awesome is that?

* Allison.......... she actually walked by before I could send Kayla to the salon and I just ran with it. It should be interesting to see what she has to say to Kenny.

* Kayla will keep her position at the high school as well as opening up her own gallery. She'll run it on the weekends and she will also feature some of her students' artwork as well :). Thanks to Apple Valley for the great idea.

* That's it for Kenny and Mellow Metal for this round. We'll see Kenny and Kayla in the birthday post and Slade may make his way into one of the remaining uni posts, who knows.

* I Also found a fix for my crashing problem! For anyone who has had issues with multiple crashes, I would suggest you read this post. My game runs smoother and no crashes since I did it.
