She really hoped they had a girl this time in case Matt didn't want to have any more kids. She still didn't know what to make of all his attentiveness as of late. It was a bit strange to say she felt weird that her husband was doting on her, but that was how she felt.........weird.........

New Ramble Blog

This is the last non sim related post for this blog. I've created a ramble blog to put all of the behind the scenes stuff so that the entries here flow better. I'm going through today and deleting any post of me just talking about randomness or game related posts. I'll transfer any important ones over there so I don't lose them completely, but the rest are just getting trashed. Caleb Henderson was pissed. His springbreak plans had been ruined by Meadow and Ricky. He and Ginger were suppose to go away with Ricky and Kimberly for springbreak. After Meadow dropped the bomb about sleeping with Ricky, Kimberly broke things off with him. Sure, he and Ginger could have gone by themselves, but he wasn't ready for a trip like that with just the two of them.........damn Meadow and her meddling!

He was growing up too fast. It only seemed like yesterday that she was carrying him in her womb. Now two years had already gone by and she just didn't know where the time had gone. She remembered saying that she would be glad when her pregnancy was over, but now she wanted it again. But she knew that baring children was no longer a part of her life........

Lorelai was SO ready to give birth to this kid! She had forgotten how uncomfortable the last months were, it sucked! Jacob was oblivious to her discomfort, he was too excited about being able to enjoy this pregnancy without worrying about whether the elder elves would come in and snatch up his son.........

Surfing!

So for those who aren't aware, maybesomethingdunno at modthesims has created a hack that allows surfing!  As the proud owner of a neighborhood filled with beach lots, this excited me beyond reason :). I've installed it and it works beautifully and it's amusing to watch as well lol. Young Caleb Henderson was so kind as to be my test subject :):

He started off well enough.......he actually looked pretty good up there. But you know how cocky young adult men can be sometimes..........

It wasn't long before poor Caleb wiped out! He'll need to work on his body skill more because that's the only sure fire way to conquer the waves :). There is even a feature for sims to surf with other sims. I'm sure Caleb will invite Ricky along next time he decides to go out. The best part is that all you have to do is buy a board and put it in the sim's inventory. After that, they can surf whenever they are near an ocean. It really adds to the beach lots to see sims surfing and being able to place surfboards knowing they'll actually get some use. The only downside I've found is that once they wipe out they have to get out of the water first before they can get back on the board. Anyhow, just thought I would help spread the word for those who didn't know about it.

He felt different. He didn't know why, didn't know what brought about this change, but he felt it. He was.......lucky. He had a beautiful wife, a great son, and a job he loved. Maybe it was the fact that he actually took the time out to realize and appreciate what he had. His life had been so much about progression, about reaching the goals he had set out for himself......now he could just.......enjoy his life. It was a very freeing feeling...........

Tanner hated that he had to go in on Christmas' Eve, but he really didn't have a choice. He had recently been promoted to lieutenant and was still getting use to his new job responsibilities. There was one good thing about working this Christmas' Eve, he would miss Kayla's baby shower! So far, Keisha had kept herself in check during the planning process with Tabitha Coners. But he really didn't know how long the peace would last..........
