Happy Birthday to Ya!

Round 7 - February 2040



Lorelai was SO ready to give birth to this kid! She had forgotten how uncomfortable the last months were, it sucked! Jacob was oblivious to her discomfort, he was too excited about being able to enjoy this pregnancy without worrying about whether the elder elves would come in and snatch up his son.........

They didn't know what they were having, but Jake was convinced it was a boy.

"How's daddy's little man doing in there? Getting a bit cramped, huh champ?" he said.

"Jake, we don't know that it's a boy! Stop getting your hopes up," she said laughing.

"Oh it's a boy. I had a talk with my little swimmers and we decided that we were only going to produce a boy."

"You had a talk with your sperm? I worry about you sometimes sweetie," Lorelai said laughing.

Over at the Oros house, Starema was driving Celeste crazy with her constant advice on what Celeste SHOULD be doing.
"I want the continuation of my blood line to be strong. They'll need to be since you insist on raising him or her among the humans," she said.
"Continuation of your blood line? You mean your grandchild?" Celeste asked laughing.
"Grandmother is a human term. Any way it implies that I am old. I do not care for than implication."
"You're something else, you know that?" Celeste asked.

Over at the Coners house, Kayla was going into labor.

"Oh my gosh, is it suppose to feel like this?" she yelled.

"It's okay, it's okay. Let's just calm down," Kenny said.

"Calm down? You calm down! I'm going to the hospital to get this kid out of me before it tears me apart!" she screamed.

"You can't drive yourself, Kayla."

"Then I guess you better shut up and get me to the hospital!"

After lots of cursing, hours of labor, numerous apologies from Kayla, and a few days in the hospital, Kayla and Kenny brought home little Liam Noah Coners. He had the dark hair and brown eyes of both parents and Kenny was sure that there was no other baby in the world as beautiful as his son was.

*Yay, a boy! The Coners name will live on! And now Terrence can bring his grandson over whenever he's overwhelmed with all that estrogen in the house lol

* I would love for Lorelai and Jake to have a boy as well, so we'll see what happens. I can totally see Jake as the father of a bunch of girls though :)
