Delays

This is not story related, something I'm trying to get away from on this blog, but not everyone follows my behind the scenes blog.......I'm still around and waaaaay behind on my blog reading :(. I also have not had the time to play to create a new update which I hate because I'm so excited about the new alien baby, who I haven't even seen yet myself!!! The beginning of the semester is always rough and this is my second to last semester of classes before 750 hours of internship so my classes are a bit more time consuming, i.e. consultations with counselors, program planning, honor society meetings; it's all really one big headache! But I see a light at the end of the tunnel and I should be able to get some play time in and have a new post by the end of the week. It's strange to go from posting almost every other day, to barely having time to read everyone else's great blogs! But that's part of being an adult right? I mean, I can't disregard all these things and shut the world out and play the sims for a few days.......can I? Nah, probably not a good idea :). Anyway, I'm still here and so is LaQuest Beach and hopefully we can return to our regularly scheduled program soon :)

Caleb was glad that things were going well for he and Ginger. With all the craziness that was surrounding their friends, it was nice to be stable. Meadow and Ricky served as cautionary tales of what not to do!

Oh, she had wanted her own kids, but she thought it would have been smarter for them to wait a bit. It took him a while to get here, to grow up. But now he was a husband and a father and it was time to make some grown man decisions where his family was concerned. Which meant that his days of money laundering were coming to a close. He had made his money, bought a nice home, and was ready to settle down in the life of the new Derick Pace: Husband, father, and club owner.

I see their song "Bittersweet" being about their road to being famous and all the ups and downs of it. So a picture of them waiting for their  bus was fitting :)

Slade couldn't believe that he had a crib in his bedroom......totally not how he pictured his bachelor pad when he bought the place. He still had trouble sometimes.......it all seemed so surreal. But Joss was here and he was a father.......

Taesha was so excited that they had gotten another teacher for the school. Her class load was huge and she couldn't wait until it became a bit smaller. She knew that it was selfish, but her daughter Lyria would be starting school next year and she wanted to be able to spend time with her. The way it stood currently, she could barely keep the kids from destroying the classroom!

Clarence Phillippine was a very complex man. At least that's what his wife Lily said.
