Dum, Dum, Dum..........

So I realized today that it has been almost a month since my last post. Between all the holiday craziness and a new project, my poor sims have been neglected. So I guess I'm taking a small hiatus. The new project that I'm working on actually is kinda sim related. I began working on Arwen's story for the spinoff and realized that I really love writing this story! So much so that I've decided to finish it in it's entirety (however long that may be). It's a bit of a stretch to call it a book, maybe a novella? Anyway, I'm really excited about writing it while the wheels are turning. I have a tendency to get writer's block after too long. I'm sure I'll come up for air soon, especially since classes start back next week. I don't know if I want to post it here as I am definitely going to still do a sim story with it.......I'll still post, but it will be pretty sporadic. I've had Christian Brown's bio written for a while, I just need to make his photo collage so that should be up soon. So I'm not gone and maybe it's not technically a hiatus, the posts will just be pretty spread out for a while. Thank you so much to all my readers, love you guys!

Bless the Broken Road

Round 8 - February 2042

Last update/ Next update

Tippy Dean, Casey Addler, and Mindi Mason are 27 (Marcus Burns is 27)

Every long lost dream, lead me to where you are

Others who broke my heart, they were like northern stars

Pointing me on my way, into your loving arms

This much I know is true

That God bless the broken road, that lead me straight to you

Rascal Flatts

Living with Tippy Dean was......an experience. Casey decided long ago that his life with Tippy would never be boring. It was part of the reason he wanted to marry her. She was an amazing woman, albeit a bit scary at times! He turned the wedding planning totally over to her and she turned all business dealings over to him. They had to decided to open their own gym, Tippin' the Scales, where he would be a personal trainer and she would be a yoga instructor. It was an expensive venture, but Casey was confident that they could make it successful........

She's So High

Round 8 - January 2042

Last update/ Next update

Joe Carr is 46, Kayden is 12, Javion is 10, Layla and Lauren are 3 (Gallagher Newson is 12, Kali Knowles, and Carl Faulkner are 14)

What can a guy like me, ever really offer?

She's perfect as she can be, why should I even bother?

Cuz she's so high, high above me, she's so lovely

She's so high, like Cleopatra, Joan of Arc, or Aphrodite

She's so high, high above me

Tal Bachman

Ariel had been working very long hours at the recording studio, which left Joe taking care of the twins most of the time. Kevin Knowles had picked up a lot of the slack at the hospital, but Joe was getting a bit tired of potty training and feedings. He needed a break!

Happy Birthday to Ya!

Round 8 - January 2042

Being the horrible simgod that I am, I totally forgot to do Miranda Picaso's age up! So here she is.......quite evil looking, isn't she? And guess what? She has freaking elf ears! No idea what that's about! As you can see, I covered them. There is just no way for me to fit that into my whole elf situation I have going on, and I'm not even going to try! I'm hoping she......I don't know, softens as she gets older. She looks like she's going to get into a lot of mischief, doesn't she?

And here is little Miss Joss Willis. She is a very playful and outgoing little one-year-old girl. Meadow is a bit upset that she looks more like her daddy right now!

* I seriously don't understand how Miranda has elf ears......no idea. She is extremely outgoing, playful, sloppy and mean (only 1 neat and nice point!) so I'm sure she'll be quite the character.

* Joss is also extremely outgoing and playful (10 points each) but she also isn't very nice ( 3 nice points). I can see her being the spoiled daughter of a rockstar who just wants to have fun all the time lol. Should be tons of fun for both Meadow and Slade :)

Lighters

Round 8 - December 2041

Last update/ Next update

Kevin and Kinsley Knowles are 35, Ryan is 9, Ricki is 8 (Brian Johnson, Kenny Coners, and Joanna King are 27, Donna Foster is 57, DeJuan is 54, Lyria Nott is 4, Gordon is 25)

This one's for you and me, living out our dreams

We're all right where we should be

With my arms out wide, I open my eyes

And now all I want to see, is a sky full of lighters

A sky full of lighters

Bad Meets Evil ft. Bruno Mars

Business was really booming for Kinsley, which was great as Christmas was the next day and she and Kevin still had a few presents to get for the kids!

New Poll

So I've gotten up to Tippy and Mindi's update in game and I've been thinking.....That whole uni group is now playable other than Mindi since both Slade and Tippy made the cut. I don't know, I feel kinda bad, leaving her out. Because once she and Tippy aren't roommates anymore, she gets tossed to the land of NPCs. And since Tippy is going to marry Casey this round, I'm not sure how long it would be realistic for Mindi to live with a married couple. So I'll leave it up to you guys. I'll be posting a poll to decide her fate. I know I haven't really delved too much into Mindi's character, but I think she has the potential to be an interesting addition to LB. Then again, with all these new babies, maybe I don't need to add any more new people......but my hood is fairly new and still growing......you see my dilemma? So please, have mercy on me and help me decide!!!! :)

Get to Me

Round 8 - December 2041 - Mini Update

Gavin Newson is 25, Gretchen is 33, Gallagher is 11, Gabriella is 9, Georgia and Garrett are 8, Ginger is 20, Matthew Picaso is 40, Jessica is 39, Hunter is 5

Well an airplane's faster than a Cadillac,

and a whole lot smoother than a camel's back,

But I don't care how you get to me, just get to me

Parasail or first class mail,

Get on the back of a nightingale

Just get to me, just get to me

Train

It was finally time to head home. Gavin wasn't sure this day would ever come. Since Payton's birth, the days seemed to creep by on his calendar. But soon he would be able to hold his baby girl in his arms..........
