"I can't believe we're at the high school!" Gabriella Newson said to her friend Javion Carr. 
"Yea, it's pretty awesome. Nice to get away from all the little kids."
"You don't think you'll miss it at all?" she asked.
"Um, no! High school is going to be SO much better," Javion said with a laugh.

Imara Coners couldn't believe that they would be seniors next year. They would be in college before she knew it! She knew that Imani and Kali were really looking forward to going off to college, but Imara just found it to be a little......well scary. She knew she wanted to be a biology major and she had a pretty good idea of what she wanted to do. But going away from home terrified her!

She didn't really have much time to lament over the future, though. Ms. Kravitz kept them quite busy, much to the dismay of most of the students. Imara actually enjoyed learning biology from the older woman. 

Kali Knowles was indeed looking forward to going off to college. This excitement had only grown now that she had talked her boyfriend Carl into attending college as well. She just knew that they would all have the time of their life at uni! Her older sister Kayla stilled talked about all the adventures she and her friends got into when they were off at college! 

Ricky still couldn't believe that he was back at the high school as a teacher. Hearing all the excited chatter about college took him back to his own high school years. He knew that these teens had no idea just how crazy college could be! It was definitely a defining moment in one's life!

Javion knew his brother Kayden claimed that he was completely over his crush on Kali.........but he also knew that his brother was lying through his teeth!

"I still can't get over how much you two look a like," Kali said.

"Please, Javion WISHED he looked as good as me!" Kayden said with a laugh.

"Oh I don't look as good........I look better bro," Javion said.

"Well I think you are both cute," she said with a smile.

Yep, there was no way his brother was over this girl...................

Imara and Gallagher had grown closer over the last year and really enjoyed hanging out with one another. He wanted desperately to ask her out and make her his girlfriend, but there was no way he was going to tell her that! He saw what happened when Kayden tried that with Kali and he really didn't think he could handle being turned down like that. So he settled for just being really good friends with her............

Imani had also gotten closer to Hunter Davidson, but the two weren't officially dating. Mainly because her father told her that they were not allowed to date until they were 50.................but she and her mom were working on getting him to loosen up on that a bit! Gabriella Newson and Kayden's little brother were now at the high school and Imani found Gabriella to be a bit annoying.......like seriously, why was she just hanging around?

Carl wasn't really sure why Kali disliked Samara so much. She seemed like a pretty cool girl. He wouldn't mind being friends with her actually.......but he knew Kali would absolutely lose it if she found out. Samara could see why Kali liked Carl so much........he was cute and also just really cool.......yep, she could see why she was crazy about him...............

Ricky was SO glad that Ms. Kravitz was not a teacher when he was at the school! She was such a ball buster. She took no excuses from the students and had high expectations for them. Despite her being so stern, he actually found her to be nice to work with. And she was also helping him become a better teacher as well. Sometimes you can't judge a book by its cover after all...............

Kayden was so excited to have made the basketball team. He practiced every chance he had. For him, this made sense. Girls? They might as well have been beings from another planet as far as he was concerned. But basketball he understood. And no, he didn't like watching Kali fawn all over that creep Carl, but he was slowly letting it go. He would just stick to the things that made sense............

Kayden really was a good basketball player. It was why Kali liked watching him practice his shots. Things had been better between then since the whole him telling her he liked her thing. It wasn't that Kayden wasn't cute, because he was. And he made her laugh and she liked being around him. But she liked Carl more. So she and Kayden would just have to remain friends.........and the only reason she enjoyed watching him practice was because he was so good at basketball..................

Yea, there was definitely something in the air at LBPS............something that felt a lot like change........and with change comes lots of drama!

* I can't believe that the twins and Kali will be going off to college soon! I still feel so out of touch with everyone........I guess that's what happens when you take a 2 year hiatus lol

 

*Kali is so full of it lol. She has a slightly higher attraction score with Carl, but she rolls lots of wants for Kayden. If they ever do end up together, they are going to have quite a history together lol. I decided to send Carl off to uni with them when they go. He's a romance sim so I see lots of heartbreak in Kali's future, but what can you do? He and Samara just started hanging out together on their own so I don't know what's going to become of that.......

 

*Javion and Gabriella are teens! Javion is also a romance sim so I imagine he will be a riot to play as he gets older. He also had music as his hobby so I'm excited to add that in the mix as well. I mean if he decided to pursue it, he has a foot in the door since his mother works for Jake Ellison :)
