Liam Coners was very excited about starting school. Turning four meant that he could go out and play with other kids and learn some things. It also meant that he could get away from his little sister! He didn't understand why his mom seemed so sad about him going to school at all.......

When the mayor of LaQuest Beach, Christian Brown, asked his former intern, Caleb Henderson, to head up the creation of a fairground on the island upon which Camden Park resides, he had no idea the young man would do such a wonderful job. It was more than he expected and he knew the residents of LaQuest would enjoy the grounds for years to come. Caleb was truly a mayor in the making.........

Decisions, Decisions

So after having a little sit down with myself, I decided that I do want to continue with the blog. However, I am no longer interested in HOW I was playing. I think I just got bogged down by keeping up with all these different stats and trying to actually run the neighborhood. So I have decided to just stop all that. I will no longer do rounds, since this is pretty story based at this point anyway, I plan to do chapters instead. The chapters will have sub-numbers (1.1, 1.2, etc) because if every household was a chapter, the numbers would tick away very quickly lol. I'll still play everyone's house and still do birthdays because I think it's important to know when they're aging, but that's pretty much it. School updates will only occur when I play the house of the person in charge of the school. And of course I'll still play the uni updates by semester. I think simplifying it all will help me not get in these long periods where I just don't want to turn on the game. I still plan to do Connor's time in Peragama (which is actually where we'll begin mainly) and Arwen's story of becoming Queen of Vasadori. I enjoyed playing the rounds and running the hood but I think it just became a little much for me to want to maintain between work and the other things I have going on in life. I want to get back to it being fun. And the story part of the sims, the ability to interpret what their interactions mean, has always been the most fun part for me. Also, the story will remain here. Because ALL the rest of the posts are here, it'll just be easier I suppose for any new people that run across the blog to see what's happened up to the point where they join. I'm excited to be inspired again :)

Thayer/Wrightwood Wedding

I have once again fallen off the wagon as I'm sure you guys have noticed lol. I just don't know that I play regularly enough to keep up a blog but I realized that I already had the photos for their wedding and I just wanted to share them. I'm not saying whether or not I'm going to continue because I don't know. But I did want fans of this story line to at least get to see their wedding.

Slade couldn't believe that he was actually watching Meadow walk down the aisle. After all they had been through, it was a bit surreal to play at her wedding. But he had to admit, Frenchie had gone all out to make this the wedding of Meadow's dreams.......

New Elementary School Update

The new elementary school update is up on the new blog. I can't believe Connor Gray will be 12 next round! He will have his trip to Peragama starting at the beginning of the round so he'll miss out on going to junior high on Earth. He'll be back in time to start high school though. Ryan Knowles and Georgia and Garrett Newson will also be heading off to junior high next time. The Newson house is now full of teens so playing next round should be fun lol. Pace Update and Some Changes

Long time no see! So I am still playing the game but I've been gearing up for some changes I want to make. Because I feel like I've been leaning heavier on the storytelling side of the fence than game play, I've decided to focus more on that. I've started a wordpress blog and that is where I will continue my updates. I won't be deleting this one as I'm not porting over all these posts as the format will be a bit different.

I'm still playing my game in rounds but I won't be mentioning that in my new posts. I'll still post what month and year it is. There also won't be anymore game play notes at the bottom of the posts. Any game play things that I may change will be posted over on this blog. I'll also do a quick little post over here when there's a new update on the new blog. I think this will work out better since I have Connor's trip to Peragama coming up and I'll still be doing Arwen's story, both of which are all storytelling. So basically all this means is that they will be treated more like characters instead of sims if that makes sense.

Because I took such a long hiatus and those who were readers previously might have forgotten what was going on with each character, these first few post will contain some background on each of my sims. I will link to the posts here that correspond with whatever I'm talking about. Hopefully that will help those of you who were readers but may have forgot some points and it'll help anyone new to the story that might come across it solely on wordpress. I'll still be doing school updates and all that, it'll just have more of a story feel to it. That's the plan anyway lol.

So I completely forgot about this cutie's bday! Such a horrible simgod smh

Anastasia Gray is now a cute and very busy one year old. Parents Amanda and Corbin are very glad she's more mobile, but they forgot about how much energy it requires to keep up with a toddler! Thank goodness this is their last go round! Anastasia is a very playful(6) and active(7) child and is also very tidy(8) for a toddler. Like her mother she is pretty shy(3) and can be a bit grouchy(4) at times. Her big brothers are just glad that they can play with her more now!

* So somehow I forgot to do her birthday, glad I didn't get too far ahead of myself lol. Anastasia is definitely shy like Amanda, but she isn't very nice. Should be a pretty interesting combination to say the least lol.

Alex didn't get what the big deal was about Anastasia. Everyone thought that she was so cute, but all she did was sleep, eat, and slobber all over the place. Grown ups were weird...........

Is This Thing On?

So........hey lol. I have no idea if anyone even still reads this blog! If you do, let me apologize for my ridiculously long absence.......like seriously, I'm talking almost 2 years! My interests changed and my life changed and sims kinda took a back seat. I moved to a new city, got my first career related job, started making YouTube videos, turned 30, and a whole other host of things! SO I've been quite busy. But I never uninstalled my game, couldn't bring myself to do it........and I fired it up last week and got the bug again! Amazingly, it still runs pretty good, though some of my custom content went the way of the dodo bird apparently -_-. What does this mean? It means that I will once again be making posts! Since my game works fine, I'm just going to pick right up where I left off. I've played through a few updates, just need to write them up. And Kenny and Kayla have had their new baby in game! I'm still trying to refresh myself on all the rules I made up (thank God for Evernote) and some of that may change. I'm not going to hold myself to a regular schedule just yet because I still have quite a bit going on. My YouTube channel is doing pretty well (about 1500 subscribers) so editing videos can take up quite a bit of my time. I WANT to post here once a week......we'll see what happens though lol. I hope any hangers on have been doing well and I also want to catch back up on some blogs (those that are still active anyway). Feels good to be back!

Do not adjust your screens, that is indeed Javion Carr all grown up. Javion is 12 this round and he is looking almost IDENTICAL to his older brother Kayden. His mother Ariel has some strong genes! Javion, who has never understood his brother's love of girls, is a romance kind of guy........who aims to share his love with at least 10 different ladies.........his teen years should be fun ;). Javion also has an interest in music and a very beautiful singing voice.
